Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the American sweetheart after she won American Idol in the first season. She is considered one of many of the most popular American Idol artists. She was a bit flimsy as she found recognition for her different musical themes and style, and often wrote songs of her own. The uniqueness of her voice and singing ability earned her critical acclaim and a number of prestigious award. The most notable accomplishment was that she received 3 Grammy awards. In addition to her work in the field of music, she has also appeared on television and film. She also wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
